FIVE things that will transform your London Vet Show experience
How do you make the most of a jam-packed London Vet Show experience? What does having a successful show mean to you? Those of you familiar with coaching will know that it’s always goal-oriented, so here are some LVS goals that will help transform your London Vet Show experience.
Drop me a note to meet at London Vet Show

Ok, so meeting in public won’t be confidential, but I’m at LVS for the full 2 days doing a number of jobs for Emerge, the VSGD community and my consultancy clients. If you’d like to have a chat to explore what coaching is and discuss what a difference coaching could make in your life, then I’d love to meet you too.
I have a number of slots available and I’ll be working with my client VetzPetz on stand P31 during the show. I might accidentally discuss the benefits of using Antinol for dogs and cats with OA, but if you plan ahead, I’ll dedicate some time to talking about your needs instead!
Get in touch to reserve a slot.
Sign up to the VSGD #VetPassport Career Networking Event

I’m extremely excited to be one of the mentors at the #VetPassport Career Networking Event, bringing online communities face to face, exploring potential together.
The event, supported by TVM UK and LVS, will take place at the TVM UK stand (P40), between 15:00-17:00 on Thursday 14th November. It includes networking and mentoring zones where delegates can come and find mentors or individuals offering support to challenges and opportunities that have been identified through a registration survey.

Sign up for the next cohort of the VDS Training Career Group Coaching programme

Ok, so this isn’t strictly an LVS opportunity but I’m absolutely buzzing to involved in this project. It sold out, with 25 vets now just over halfway through the programme and about to start my CV development module.
If you’re keen, don’t panic; a second cohort is planned for spring 2020 and you can sign up here.
If you can’t wait or time is of the essence, again don’t panic. Get in touch to arrange a chat at LVS or explore my CV and Interview development products here at Emerge.
Plan your lecture schedule with military precision
Part of the London Vet Show experience is the chance to participate in over 150 hours of some of the best CPD available. That, and a commercial exhibition with 450+ suppliers where you could equip a whole clinic from top to bottom or network for your next career opportunity.
Making the most of LVS requires planning, so jump online, checkout the lecture streams and don’t forget how big the show is. Can you really get from one end of the arena to the other in those few minutes between lectures? How much more strategic and relaxed could you be with a little planning?
Wear good shoes and stay hydrated.
If nothing else, wear good shoes and stay hydrated. The South Hall at ExCeL is about the same size as four premiership football pitches. If you’re going to hike the exhibition, you may as well be comfortable and you’re definitely going to need refreshments. Bring a water bottle – reusable naturally, or see what you might be able to find in the exhibition hall.
I hope you have a fabulous London Vet Show experience and hopefully I’ll see you there.
